An Intercessory Prayer for Protection

Dear heavenly Father, I thank You for Your promise of protection over us. I lift ________ before You and humbly pray a hedge of protection around him/her/them. You said in Your word that You would never leave or forsake us. I thank You, Father, that You are a wall of fire all around him/her/them, and I ask that You give Your angels charge over them and make them an encampment all around him/her/them. Let Your angels go before him/her/them to protect them and keep them from harm and danger.

I thank You, Father, for Your word that says that You hide ________ under Your wings, that no evil shall befall him/her/them, and that no plaque or calamity shall come near him/her/them. I believe that _______ dwells in the secret place of the Most High and abides under the shadow of the Almighty. I say of You, Lord, You are ________'s refuge and fortress, and You cover him/her/them with Your feathers. Teach _________ to trust in, rely on, and look to You as his/her/their help. I decree that ________ shall not be afraid of the terror by night or the arrow that flies by day. Only with his/her/their eyes will ________ behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Father, because You have set Your love upon ________, therefore will You deliver him/her/them, and I thank You. __________ shall call upon You, and You will answer him/her/them. I pray that they feel Your peace and presence during this time of trouble and that not one hair of his/her head shall perish.

I humbly pray for safety over _________'s home and family that no matter where they go or what they do, despite what they may face, they are forever operating in Your divine protection. I pray that ________ keeps Your precious word close to his/her/their heart and in their mouth and that it be life and health to all their flesh. I pray Your favor surrounds them as a shield and that Your peace which passes all understanding guard over ________'s heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and in His name I pray. Amen.
