Sculpted Clay

Conditioned clay in primary colors is mixed to form unique color schemes & variegations liken to watercolor paintings, then formed, shaped, carved, cured & assembled into wearable art. Each piece of jewelry is extracted from clay slabs made by hand from various individual colors to express a unique design. Variations in the clay and the handcrafted nature of the design add to the creative integrity of the final piece making it slightly different from its pair. From this clay slab, the jewelry piece is sculpted by hand in various shapes. Texture and fine details are applied when needed adding intriguing elements to an existing raw palette.
