How we rest is as important as our need for it. Rest allows our mind, body, and soul to renew and regain strength and focus. But rest is not only about sleep, it is also about tranquility of mind, calmness, and peace. Rest is learning to relax while awake and maintaining this state of ease throughout the day. Rest is about taking an extended breath and learning to live, peacefully. My prayer is that we find rest in life, spirit, soul, and body collectively.
