And now, O יהוה, You are our Father. We are the clay, and You our potter. And we are all the work of Your hand. - Isaiah 64:8

In His Name is a collection of handcrafted jewelry developed and designed to promote and glorify the true name of God. I make each piece by hand in my home studio utilizing various mediums such as clay, semi-precious stones and precious metals producing one of a kind, contemporary, minimalist jewelry.

This collection is comprised of three lines all bearing the true name of God:

PICTOGRAPH SERIES - hand-carved clay jewelry displaying the original name of the Most High God drawn by hand in the earliest proto-Hebrew and Hebrew pictograph scripts. This line was designed to mimic cuneiform tablets bearing the writing system developed by the ancient Sumerians of Mesopotamia. In this system, a carefully cut stylus is pressed into soft clay to produce impressions that represent pictographs. The impressions and drawings on these pieces were produced on raw clay using only carving tools and a stylus except where stamped for a more uniform representation.

HEBREW SERIES - mixed metal jewelry displaying the original name of the Most High God hand-stamped or carved in classic Hebrew script on precious metals and polymer clay.

SIGNATURE SERIES - mixed metal jewelry displaying the original name of the Most High God in the Tetragrammaton hand-stamped or carved on precious metals and polymer clay.

tetragrammaton (/ˌtɛtrəˈɡræmətɒn/

from Greek Τετραγράμματον, meaning "[consisting of] four letters"), יהוה‎ in Hebrew and YHVH

(a transliteration of Jehovah in the King James Bible) is the four-letter Biblical name of the God of Israel.

About the name of Yahweh (God)

The name of the Most High God is important to Him and the scriptures tell us that His people (His children) are called by His name.

The name of YHVH is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe (Proverbs 18:10).And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of YHVH shall be saved (Joel 2:32, Romans 10:13)....hear in heaven Your dwelling place and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You, in order that all the peoples of the earth may KNOW YOUR NAME and fear You, as do Your people Y'srael, and that they may know that this house that I have built is called by Your NAME." (1 Kings 8:43)

It was by name that the deity one worshipped was known. The biblical people of YHVH knew Him by name, not the generic “the Lord” or “God” titles we use today. The Father reveals Himself through His name and His name is holy. It is my aim to promote His name, His real name through the gifts He has given me. It is in great honor of His name that I've developed this line to magnify that name through beautiful handcrafted jewelry that bears His name and His name only.

In the Old Testament of the Bible, YHVH is the personal name of God and His most frequent designation, occurring over 6800 times. This is the Ineffable Name or Unutterable Name of the God of Israel. Because it is composed from the four Hebrew letters Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey, it is also referred to as the Tetragrammaton, meaning “[consisting of] four letters”. The earliest forms of the sacred name appear in proto-Hebrew script (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 , a script that is closely related to ancient Phoenician script). This earlier form of the name was used until Ezra the scribe converted the ancient script to Aramaic morphology or classic Hebrew (יהוה) which is now the form used in Torah scrolls.

Though the exact pronunciation of the sacred name of YHVH has not been agreed upon, we can be confident that the letters derive from the Hebrew verb “to be” (hayah) and indicate Gods utter transcendence as the Source and foundation of all being.
